I am running Linux rawhide:
[root@ns1 log]# uname -a
Linux ns1 2.2.16-8smp #1 SMP Tue Jul 4 06:21:15 EDT 2000 i686 unknown

I noticed the folowing error in /var/log/boot.log

Jul  5 22:55:52 ns1 rc.sysinit: Remounting root filesystem in read-write
mode succeeded
Jul  5 22:55:55 ns1 depmod: depmod: ***  Unresolved symbols in
/lib/modules/2.2.16-8smp/misc/emu10k1.o
Jul  5 22:55:55 ns1 rc.sysinit: Finding module dependencies succeeded

This only appeared to affect some builds, but it is fixed
in our RawHide/Beta kernels, as well as in Alan's latest
pre-patches.
