Created attachment 1187021 [details] Output snaps Description of problem: 3.1.3 async iso encrypted install is failing with the below error, CryptoError: luks_format failed for '/dev/vda2'- anaconda" Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): RHGSS-3.1.3-RHEL-6-20160802.0-RHGSS-x86_64-dvd1.iso How reproducible: 1) Start installing RHGSS 3.1.3 async using the iso and select Encrypt system checkbox in the installation type page. 2) Click Next. 3) Enter passphrase for the encrypted partition and click OK. 4) click write changes to the disk. 5) Will be hitting with an unhandled exception luks_format failed for '/dev/vda2'- anaconda". Actual results: The installation is failing and we are not able to continue. Expected results: Installation should be successful with encrypt system checked. Additional info: Output snaps will be attached.
The RHGS ISO was using anaconda-13.21.232-1.el6 where it had this problem. But the ISO spun using latest el6 anaconda version anaconda-13.21.254-1.el6 doesn't have this error.

Verified this bug with the newly provided ISO: http://download.eng.bos.redhat.com/composes/candidates/RHGSS-3.1.3-RHEL-6-20160803.0/compose/RHGSS/x86_64/iso/RHGSS-3.1.3-RHEL-6-20160803.0-RHGSS-x86_64-dvd1.iso and now the encryption option works fine. No issues seen during installation with encryption and following combinations are tried: > Default install > Default + Ganesha install > Default + Samba install > All packages install
