Description of problem: On-board sound device is not recognized after kernel update Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): kernel-4.6.5-200.fc23.x86_64 How reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Boot with kernel 4.6.5 2. 3. Actual results: No sound. Sound device not detected. Expected results: Additional info: I have onboard audio device 00:1f.3 Audio device: Intel Corporation Sunrise Point-H HD Audio (rev 31) Subsystem: ASUSTeK Computer Inc. Device 86ae Flags: bus master, fast devsel, latency 32, IRQ 133 Memory at f7240000 (64-bit, non-prefetchable) [size=16K] Memory at f7220000 (64-bit, non-prefetchable) [size=64K] Capabilities: <access denied> Kernel driver in use: snd_hda_intel Kernel modules: snd_hda_intel when booting with kernel 4.6.5, some of the sound modules are not loaded. for example, snd_hda_codec_realtek is not loaded.

If you have moved on to Fedora 24 or 25, and are still experiencing this issue, please change the version to Fedora 24 or 25. If you experience different issues, please open a new bug report for those.
