I only just noticed the closure as well. What's the reasoning behind not seeing this as a bug?

I cloned it, changed the version to Mitaka, but forgot to change the target release. 
So, not sure how you guys deal with bugs affecting multiple releases, but in platform, this bug would have stayed open for both 8 and 9 (again; need to change the target release)
