I looked at my F22 system which is also 64 bit and I see that epson-escpr-wrapper is also located in /usr/lib/cups. Then why is lpstat complaining about it needing to be in /usr/lib64/cups? If the problem isn't with the epson package then there is a problem with the cups package. Something in the cups package is assuming the file is in /usr/lib64/cups.
My guess is your configuration files are broken.
