Description Ruchika K 2016-08-19 14:32:49 UTC
Description of problem:
The documentation is extremely misleading

https://access.redhat.com/documentation/en/red-hat-openstack-platform/8/paged/red-hat-ceph-storage-for-the-overcloud/chapter-3-integrating-an-existing-ceph-storage-cluster-in-an-overcloudly

Section 3.4/3/5 speaks of introspecting control and compute nodes.
- This is not necessary at all especially on a ceph admin node
- If the guide speaks to deploying openstack the steps are very incomplete.
- The title says integrate a ceph cluster to openstack (Maybe these details should be reviewed with the focus of integrating a ceph cluster with an existing openstack deployment)
