Requesting an update for xfce4-whiskermenu-plugin. Now there are two releases. One that still depends on GTK 2 (1.6.0) and One that now depends on GTK 3 (2.0.0) I would say: Go for the GTK 3 version because we already depend on a mixture of GTK 2 and GTK 3 based xfce plugins. So better now with GTK 3 than later. Request for Fedora 24 and upwards.
yes. i'm just back from break. i'll build it soon ...

unfortunately, i cannot build 2.0.0 at the moment since I have to update exo first. So, 1.6.0 it is. Building right now.

The new exo (or the update) won't change anything for the existing xfce 4.12 users. From my own investigations the new exo provides the following libraries: libexo-1.so.0 libexo-1.so.0.1.0 libexo-2.so.0 libexo-2.so.0.1.0 libexo-1 for the GTK2 stuff libexo-2 for the GTK3 stuff ... while the old exo only offers libexo-1. So even if you might consider updating exo within the official Fedora repos, people may not notice any changes or differences at all.

I agree but I would much prefer to update core components as part of xfce 4.14 update ... if at all possible.
