Description of problem: --- THIS IS A FEATURE REQUEST --- When Media Writer is used to write the bootable installer .ISO to an USB stick, it makes a partition on the device which is exactly the size of the files contained in the .ISO or about 500MB. Most USB sticks are larger than that. It would be preferrable if the partition created was the size of the device, i.e. 4GB, 8GB, ... Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): (Current) How reproducible: Create a bootable USB stick using Media Writer and one of the install .ISO files provided by Fedora Steps to Reproduce: 1. 2. 3. Actual results: A partition/fileystem on the device of exactly the size of the filesin the .ISO Expected results: A partition/filesystem on the device using all the available space on the device. Additional info: This is a feature request. Background is that the installer configures certain drivers wrong. I'd like to put drivers on the device which I would install manually. Specifically: nouveau vs. radeon proprietary.

Often a more recent Fedora release includes newer upstream software that fixes bugs or makes them obsolete.
Fedora 24 changed to end-of-life (EOL) status on 2017-08-08. Fedora 24 is no longer maintained, which means that it will not receive any further security or bug fix updates. As a result we are closing this bug. If you can reproduce this bug against a currently maintained version of Fedora please feel free to reopen this bug against that version.
