Description Tomas Hudziec 2016-08-24 14:49:15 UTC
Filed from caserun https://tcms.engineering.redhat.com/run/288296/#caserun_13122816

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
xorg-x11-drv-nouveau-1.0.11-4.el7.x86_64

Steps to Reproduce:
 1. Obtain 2 displays (Dell 17" 1024x768 & NEC 23" 1920x1080 in my case)
 2. For every functioning output port (BIOS can output to it) try the following
    hotplug sequences:
+ Disconnect display and connect any other display to the same port (DVI)

Actual results:
+ dell -> nec : nec in most cases has the resolution of dell; after running xrandr or opening settings screen is OK
+ nec -> dell : black screen and monitor message: "Cannot display this video mode"; after running xrandr screen is OK

Expected results:
 1. Every time a display is connected check the following conditions:
+ The display's native resolution is in use
+ The display comes on in a reasonable amount of time (10s)

Graphics card: NVIDIA Corporation GK107GL [Quadro K600] [10de:0ffa]
