Set the ceph_stable setting to true in group_var/all it looks like below, # COMMUNITY VERSION #ceph_stable: true # use ceph stable branch #ceph_stable_key: https://download.ceph.com/keys/release.asc #ceph_stable_release: infernalis # ceph stable release #ceph_stable_repo: "http://ceph.com/debian-{{ ceph_stable_release }}" ceph_stable: true is for community version installation ceph_stable_rh_storage: true is the equivalent to rh installation It doesn't affect the installation, but here in the context of rh installation, we shouldn't enable this.
