Description Dan Yasny 2016-08-25 19:10:05 UTC
Description of problem:
The current documentation only talks about setting up ops tools, with no depth in terms of how things are being monitored.

A good doc relevant to OSP7 at http://file.bne.redhat.com/~ggillies/Monitoring_RHOS.html might be expanded to include services added in OSP8-9-10 etc, and will be helpful for solution architects and customers wishing to expand the monitoring suite or build their own.

The document should cover both Openstack modules (nova, neutron, cinder, etc) and the underlying subsystems (keepalived, galera, mongo etc) on both the undercloud and overcloud.

Comment 4 Lars Kellogg-Stedman 2017-07-17 15:49:08 UTC
OSP11 includes support for integrating with a sensu-based monitoring solution, but we do not currently ship the server side of that solution so we are not shipping sensu healthchecks.
