Description Thom Carlin 2016-08-26 21:29:00 UTC
Description of problem:

Multiple occurrences where products were changed to add/change/remove content sets and accounts were not properly updated. This should be automatic and not visible to the end-user.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):

QCI-1.0-RHEL-7-201608125.t.0

How reproducible:

100%

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Install/configure QCI
2. Create a SMA
3. When the product is changed, try a deployment

Actual results:

Deployment fails

Expected results:

Successful deployment

Additional info:

Could have a "info" in the log that the SMA was updated

Comment 1 Thom Carlin 2016-08-26 21:30:41 UTC
Per QCI devs, reassigning

Comment 3 Kevin Howell 2016-09-07 20:15:37 UTC
Need to add an adapter capability to push product changes into candlepin (instead of being poll-only).

Comment 5 Barnaby Court 2019-09-20 16:10:40 UTC
This has been addressed through other changes to infrastructure that push refresh requests to candlepin in a more accurate way.
