Checked with sdodson and he says the v1.2 -> v1.3 jump here tracks the Kube version, and these directories are being maintained for each version. So we should leave the v1.2 paths as is in docs for OSE 3.2 (Kube version is v1.2), and can update to the v1.3 paths starting with OCP 3.3 (Kube version is v1.3).

jcordes, is there something in the v1.3 content you feel should be included in v1.2 content used by OSE 3.2?

I'm just using RH-SSO, so I guess this is also in 1.2 (actually I have started with this version but a colleague of mine made me aware that there are newer versions available).

Interestingly updating to the latest atomic-openshift-utils already gives me 1.3. So is this a "bug" of providing a later version as part of atomic-openshift-utils although we haven't launched OCP 3.3 yet?

I'd say the documentation for 3.2 is correct so stick to that. While I guess it's confusing that v1.3 content was included in recent installer updates it's not used by the playbooks and it's not mentioned in the documentation so I'd just ignore it and follow the docs.
