Description Miheer Salunke 2016-08-31 12:40:05 UTC
1. Proposed title of this feature request
=> Openshift nodes auto-scaling when deployed on Openstack.

3. What is the nature and description of the request?
=> We would like to be able to auto-scale Openshift nodes when deployed on top of Openstack, so our infra dynamically scales based on node load.

So, is there any supported solution for Openshift infra (nodes) auto-scaling? Maybe Heat templates?

There is a trello card, but It's just been recently created:
https://trello.com/c/twSuE3YQ/338-auto-scaling-of-infrastructure

7. Is there already an existing RFE upstream or in Red Hat Bugzilla?
=> https://trello.com/c/twSuE3YQ/338-auto-scaling-of-infrastructure

10. List any affected packages or components.
=> Openshift node, heat templates, compute node

Team, Closing this as the heat templates have been deprecated. Future funcionality and integration capabilities will be moving to openshift-ansible moving forward.
