Description of problem: anaconda (or dnf?) loses rpm script output Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): 23.19.10-1 How reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Install Fedora 2. Look for stdout and/or stderr from %pre or %post scripts of one or more rpm's installed during step 1 3. Actual results: Nothing found Expected results: Something found Additional info: The log, storage log, and program log do not have output from each rpm's install, nor do I see it in /var/log/anaconda when the newly install system is booted. Am I missing some other location for this? For rpm's I build, I'm adding something like %post if [ $1 == 1 ] ; then exec 1> /root/my-stdout-post-file fi to the package .spec file ... to have my own logs to look at.

Fedora 23 changed to end-of-life (EOL) status on 2016-12-20. Fedora 23 is no longer maintained, which means that it will not receive any further security or bug fix updates. As a result we are closing this bug. If you can reproduce this bug against a currently maintained version of Fedora please feel free to reopen this bug against that version.
