Description David Jaša 2016-09-05 16:00:59 UTC
Description of problem:
The only section of RHV 4 docs dealing with SPICE client availability and support status is:
"""
Virtual machine consoles can only be accessed using supported Remote Viewer (virt-viewer) clients on Red Hat Enterprise Linux machines and Windows machines. SPICE console access is available on other operating systems, for example OS X, only via the unsupported SPICE HTML5 browser client.
"""

It should be clearly stated:
  * What client OS versions are exactly supported to what degree
  * How to get the client (Windows - Console client resources, Linux - yum)

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
4.0.4

Hi David,

I'm currently working on a duplicate of this bug (https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1331634) so I'm closing this one and adding the details to the duplicate. I've added the details from this bug to it as well.

There is further content on SPICE support already in the guides. I'll add the links to content I have been working on the the bottom of the duplicate bug and set a need-info for you. If you have any feedback on the content in development or further suggestions it will be very welcomed.

Thanks,
Megan
