Description Bill Sanford 2016-09-08 14:56:45 UTC
Description of problem:
With the Inkscape window maximized and no image in window, it will open an image file and not resize the window from the maximized setting. If you have the Inkscape window unmaximized, but still large, the window will be resized to a very small window.

If you use File -> Import, the window stays the same size.

I just tested this with:

RHEL-7.6-20180715.n.0
gnome-software-3.28.2-2.el7.x86_64

This is still an issue.

Comment 2 Jan Horak 2020-02-18 11:49:31 UTC
Since we're going to fix serious issues in RHEL7, which this is not the case, do you also see this issue in RHEL8?

Comment 3 Jan Horak 2020-02-18 11:57:19 UTC
Anyway, we don't have enough resources to deal with such low severity bugs. Closing as wontfix.
