Description of problem: after recent update on 64 bit (but not 32) colord cannot start the colord user and group in /etc/passwd and /etc/group are missing the /var/lib/colord directory is owned by chronyd files inside /var/lib/colord are owned by chronyd Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): How reproducible: Steps to Reproduce: 1. update a working fedora 24 system that hasn't been updated since aug 31 2. reboot 3. Actual results: colord cannot start probably because the colord user doesn't exist anymore Expected results: colord starts and talks to things Additional info: i copied the colord user and group from a 32 bit system onto the 64 bit systems (974:974), chown -Rv 974:974 /var/lib/colord, and reboot for happiness
