Please test this kernel update (or newer) and let us know if you issue has been resolved or if it is still present with the newer kernel. If you have moved on to Fedora 25, and are still experiencing this issue, please change the version to Fedora 25. If you experience different issues, please open a new bug report for those.
Hi. Thank you for your kind attention for this bug. I just upgraded my system to last kernal version (on Fedora 24 x64 cinnamon edition). I'm now on kernal 4.7.4-200.fc.x86_64 Error still existing & AMD Radeon dedicated VGA still not supported. My system still not recognize AMD Radeon R7 M265. System information only show Intel HD Graghics 5500 (build in integrated with motherboard card)
Hi. I just update my system to last kernal. Now I'm on kernal version: 4.7.5-200.fc.x86_64 Still same problem existing & AMD Radeon didecated VGA not working. I receive error message on boot screen.
I examine Fedora 25 X64 as live USB OS. 1st I have positive think: on booting from USB, I did not see error message : [ xx.xxxxx ] 0000:05:00.0 failed VCE resume (-110) which was appearing on booting Fedora 24 live USB OS. But when I enter to setting then select details but it show me in Graphic line: "wayland" - name of new display system - only !! no Intel HD Graphics 5500 neither AMD Radeon ! Why no - even Intel - names for VGA displayed at all? How can I test whither my VGA supported both build in & dedicated (most importantly dedicated VGA)?
I'm on kernal 4.7.7-200 with Fedora 24 & issue still same being not fixed yet. ---------------- No one answer me how to test whether Fedora 25 beta solve this issue or not while GNOME device info display is currently bugy does not show VGA ?

I'm on kernel 4.8.6 (Fedora 24 X24 Cinnamon edition) & still no support till now !! Is there a possibility to give support for this VGA ?? Is there a site provide a non-official driver support for this VGA & being compatible with Red Hat & Fedora ??
Hi. I detect on Yum extender (DNF) the following package: xorg-x11-amdgpu 1.1.2-2.fc24 Does this package support my dedicated VGA ? How can I know about this ? I'm very afraid to try it without permission from you because no available data about it & it may break my system. Can I try it on live USB Fedora 24 X64 ? Fedora live USB OS has no persistent value & every thing deleted after restart so can not restart after installation. Please your kind response.
I upgrade Fedora 24 to last available kernel 4.8.7-200.fc24.X86_64 & installed on it xorg-x11-amdgpu 1.1.2-2.fc24 But still Radeon dedicated VGA not worked though it is worked on other laptops that use only one VGA. It seem that the cause is that my laptop is a hybrid system.
Hi. I test Fedora 25 X64 Cinnamon edition (Xorg have no Wayland) today & installed on it amdgpu package (see screenshot 1) then log out session then log in again & run: xrandr --listproviders command WHICH SHOW ME 2 ONLY (see screenshot 3) !! while on Fedora 24 show me 3 !!! What is this ?!! I run lscpi -vv command but not working ! Then run command lscpi -nn & show me out put (see screenshot 4). But system information from GNOME setting DOES NOT SHOW AMD RADEON VGA ! It show only Intel HD VGA. (see screeenshot 2). Please I does not understand ! Does Fedora version 25 Cinnamon edition support my hybrid system or not ? Does AMD Radeon R7 M265 VGA supported or not ?

Hi. I got knowledge from Fedora forums that support to my dedicated AMD Radeon VGA is implemented in Linux Kernel recently but DISABLED BY DEFAULT due to an issue that Linux kernel developer team work to fix it...... . Please do you know (even in approximate) at which version of Linux Kernel they will enable this support by default ? I'm on 4.9.7-101 & still not enabled ! Can you inform me for how long I will wait ?
*********** MASS BUG UPDATE ************** We apologize for the inconvenience. There are a large number of bugs to go through and several of them have gone stale. Due to this, we are doing a mass bug update across all of the Fedora 24 kernel bugs. Fedora 25 has now been rebased to 4.10.9-100.fc24. Please test this kernel update (or newer) and let us know if you issue has been resolved or if it is still present with the newer kernel. Bug still existing. I already open bug in kernel bugzilla at: https://bugzilla.kernel.org/show_bug.cgi?id=194591 Please your kind fix for this.
This message is a reminder that Fedora 24 is nearing its end of life. Approximately 2 (two) weeks from now Fedora will stop maintaining and issuing updates for Fedora 24. It is Fedora's policy to close all bug reports from releases that are no longer maintained. At that time this bug will be closed as EOL if it remains open with a Fedora 'version' of '24'. Package Maintainer: If you wish for this bug to remain open because you plan to fix it in a currently maintained version, simply change the 'version' to a later Fedora version. Thank you for reporting this issue and we are sorry that we were not able to fix it before Fedora 24 is end of life. If you would still like to see this bug fixed and are able to reproduce it against a later version of Fedora, you are encouraged change the 'version' to a later Fedora version prior this bug is closed as described in the policy above. Although we aim to fix as many bugs as possible during every release's lifetime, sometimes those efforts are overtaken by events. Often a more recent Fedora release includes newer upstream software that fixes bugs or makes them obsolete.
I upgraded my Fedora 24 X64 bit Cinnamon edition to Fedora 26 X64 bit Cinnamon, but issue is still existing & my Fedora 26 DOES NOT RECOGNIZE AMD dedicated VGA at all !!! Please your kind support.
