Hi Petr, A few questions for further investigation: * Attaching a Cinder storage domain requires a DC in status UP. Do you have another one available in the system? * Can you please attach the engine logs?
Apparently the DC was not up (I though it was), I can add cinder to any DC and change it in cinder's DC subtab. But I'm still unable to change it in external providers edit dialogue.

But I'm still unable to change it in > external providers edit dialogue. The DC text-box in edit dialogue is intentionally read-only. Attaching a Cinder domain is done using the regular storage domain attaching flow (to keep consistency and to follow the maintenance/deatch/attach flow). Does it work correctly from DC sub-tab?
Closing per comment #2. Attaching/detaching a Cinder storage domain is only applicable using the normal flow as data storage domain (i.e. maintenance/deatch/attach/activate). Please re-open if not working from 'Storage->DCs' sub-tab or 'DCs->Storage' sub-tub.
