There's no visual notification when the power action is inhibited. When the user cannot select poweroff/reboot [s]he doesn't know why so please display at least the "why" (and maybe "who") parameter of inhibition.

I encourage you to submit feature requests upstream to https://launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/lightdm-gtk-greeter
(we in fedora are unlikely to have the resources to implement it ourselves)
