Description of problem: Attempting to play video files of several sorts with totems plays the audio correctly but just shows a blank black window instead of any video. Play a video file with totem (I tried an mp4, a Flash video and some others) Actual results: Audio plays, but where the video would be expected the window is blank and black. Expected results: Video is visible. Additional info: I'm running a MATE desktop, with xmonad window manager.
gst123 shows the same behaviour (audio plays, but no video - a video window isn't even opened). So moving to gstreamer as a best guess where the bug lies.
This message is a reminder that Fedora 24 is nearing its end of life. Approximately 2 (two) weeks from now Fedora will stop maintaining and issuing updates for Fedora 24. Fedora 24 changed to end-of-life (EOL) status on 2017-08-08. Fedora 24 is no longer maintained, which means that it will not receive any further security or bug fix updates.
