Description of problem: I haven't noticed this before and it definitely didn't happen what I started using twirssi.pl script. But, now, I get these warning every time I load twirssi script. I filed this bug with upstream almost a year ago but there has been no action. Based on the number of commits recently (almost none since 2014) I suspect that the project is dead.
Ah, I see. Well, that's disappointing. Is there another way to get twitter feed via IRSSI? If not, I'll take a gander at the script and see if I can fix it.

And I don't use irssi anymore, but I'd be happy to take your patch which we could apply to just the Fedora package if upstream doesn't want it.
What do you use instead of irssi now?
I think the patch was applied upstream. Would you pull? (Still curious what you use instead of irssi, now.)
