Description of problem:
mod_perl 1.99_17 was released on October 22, 2004 and contains lots of 
fixes as well as new features, more you can read in the changelog:

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
mod_perl-1.99_16-3

Actual results:
A simple version number change did it for me...

Please upgrade to 1.99_17, thank you :-)
