I have same problem I download Fedora-KDE-Live-x86_64-25_Alpha-2.iso from torrent on my PC. I launch mediawritter, and choose custom os and the iso's location. I test as root and as user. As user I have a windows who require my rootpassword, I provided this password and mediawriter stop with a finish command.
