Description of problem: Installing OSP7 packages on a new & clean RHEL7 env fails due to some missing packages on the CDN. So far these are missing: python-babel-1.3-6.el7ost.noarch python-simplejson-3.5.3-1.el7ost.x86_64 python-testtools-1.1.0-1.el7ost.noarch How reproducible: Always. Steps to Reproduce: 1. Install clean OSP7 2. Enable required repos: subscription-manager register --username="username" --password="password" subscription-manager attach --pool=8a85f... (employee SKU) subscription-manager repos --disable=* --enable=rhel-7-server-rpms --enable=rhel-7-server-openstack-7.0-rpms --enable=rhel-7-server-rh-common-rpms 3. Ensure yum is clean: rm -Rf /var/cache/yum/* yum clean all 4. Update system: yum update -y 5. Try to install an OSP pkg: yum install -y python-swiftclient Actual results: Error downloading packages: python-babel-1.3-6.el7ost.noarch: [Errno 256] No more mirrors to try. python-simplejson-3.5.3-1.el7ost.x86_64: [Errno 256] No more mirrors to try. python-testtools-1.1.0-1.el7ost.noarch: [Errno 256] No more mirrors to try. Looks like a repo syncing issue on CDN.
Checked again this morning, tested RHEL6+OSP5 and RHEL7+OSP7 - no more 404s from different networks, issue seems to be fixed - repos are in sync again. Closing this issue therefore.
