Description Eric Jones 2016-09-21 13:39:28 UTC
Document URL:
https://docs.openshift.com/enterprise/3.2/install_config/install/prerequisites.html#software-prerequisites

Section Number and Name:
Installation and Configuration
Prerequisites
Software Prerequisites

Describe the issue:
In step 3, we indicate that you need to find the pool for an OpenShift Enterprise sub [0], but our entitlements have switched to the new name (openshift container platform).

[0] "3. In the output for the previous command, find the pool ID for an OpenShift Enterprise subscription and attach it:"

Suggestions for improvement:
Indicate that it might be either OpenShift Enterprise OR OpenShift Container Platform

Comment 1 Alex Dellapenta 2016-10-14 22:03:42 UTC
Proposed changes:

https://github.com/openshift/openshift-docs/pull/3057

Added a Note that says:

====
When finding the pool ID, the related subscription name might include either "OpenShift Enterprise" or "OpenShift Container Platform", due to the product name change introduced with version 3.3.

@Eric - WDYT? If you're good with that wording, I'll merge it and add to the 3.1 and 3.0 books as well.

Comment 2 Eric Jones 2016-10-18 14:52:41 UTC
@Alex LGTM, and yes, please push it to the other docs so we have that throughout.

Thanks again!
