After applying

the error message was:

    undefined method `conninfo_hash' for #<PG::Connection:0x00000010e415c8>

The `conninfo_hash` was introduced in PostgreSQL 9.3, and it is not available for older versions. We are using PostgreSQL 9.4. However our PG adapter is build against PostgreSQL 9.2.
