I don't understand what you mean by this report. I get "Ready to write" immediately after the media check that only occurs right after the file was downloaded, not when I start the tool again.
Maybe because I didn't insert a usb stick? If that's the difference I would like suggest that "ready to write"shows up even if there is no usb inserted.In some situations,users choose to insert the usb after the downloading is finished.
I didn't have anything inserted and despite that, I get the message it's ready to write after the check has finished.
yeah,I confirmed it just now,the problem(if it is)is mediawriter starts check the downloading at least 10 minutes after the bar shows the downloading is finished(100% completion).
I have a fix for that, it's just not committed yet. Thanks for the report.
