RHEL6.9 will be the final rhel6 release where LVM2 will be rebased to the latest upstream sources. When this happens the following features will be pulled in as a result and will require documentation: lvmlockd: full support (rhel7 bug 1299977) RAID takeover: (rhel7 bug 1191630) - it still may be possible we choose not to have this feature in rhel6 Machine readable multipath output: (rhel7 bug 1299651) - this is not technically LVM, but we can track it here for now change in exit code for lvresize: (rhel7 bug 1354396) - this is in the release notes for rhel7... should probably also be in rhel6 Machine readable LVM output: - JSON output and 'lvm --fullreport'
