Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): mediawriter-3.97.1-0.fc25.x86_64.rpm How reproducible: always Steps to Reproduce: 1. 2. 3. Actual results: Expected results: Additional info: mediawriter start downloading Fedora-Workstation-Live-x86_64-24-1.2.iso.part ,even though there is an intact one in /test/Downloads/
The application runs as root when you use sudo to start it so it starts to download the image to root's home folder - /root/Downloads. However, it doesn't exist on most installations so hence the errors. I'm going to fix this for the next release. Over time I may add detection of the actual user's home folder (I had this in liveusb-creator but then it ran as root by default). Thank you for the report.
