Hello, This bug created from https://bugs.centos.org/view.php?id=11503 And original bug - https://sourceforge.net/p/net-snmp/bugs/2745/ And bug description - snmpd not closing files after hangup, fixed in 2011 but banch 6 (and probably) 7 still affected.
*** Bug 1379956 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. ***
Only RHEL 6 is affected.
Our RHEL 6 systems are being impacted by this bug. I've applied the fclose patch from the upstream source to the SRPM and the affected teams have been manually applying the rebuilt RPM to their systems. This worked to prevent the crashes but it's a tedious process and it's impeding our development cycle. Is there any way to bump the priority on this fix? I'll attach the patched SRPM in case it helps (I just threw a .01 on the end of the version number).
