Description Dominik 'Rathann' Mierzejewski 2016-09-28 18:04:22 UTC
Description of problem:
Installing python-astropy brings python3 version instead of the expected python2. This causes unexpected build failures in packages requiring python-astropy (expecting python2 version), for example in APLpy.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
python-astropy-1.2.1-2.fc25

How reproducible:
Always.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. dnf install python-astropy

Actual results:
python3 version gets installed.

Expected results:
python2 version should get installed.

Thank you for finding this. I'm going to build a new package in Rawhide
