Description of problem: Employer has changed all employee email addresses from @hp.com to @hpe.com, and is currently redirecting email sent to @hp.com addresses to @hpe.com automatically. However this is scheduled to stop in the near future, so although I will be able to log in to my RedHat bugzilla account I will no longer receive emails and thus be unable to reset the password. As my account is already part of certain groups, and linked to various issues, I'd obviously prefer not to have to create a new one just because of change of email address. Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): How reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Check user preferences 2. Look for option to change email address 3. ... Actual results: Can't find a way to change email address to continue to receive updates, and also ensure that my account remains a member of existing groups. Expected results: Able to update email address to deal with employer changing names/being acquired/etc. Additional info: Apologies if this isn't the right way to inform you about this, but this does seem like an issue to be sent to the bugzilla admins of this instance to be solved and I haven't been able to find a clear way to do that.
Hi Darragh, we deliberately prevent accounts in partner groups from being able to change their email domain. If you email bugzilla-owner with you old and new address an admin can change it for you. It might be worth considering doing a single email detailing all the address' that need changing. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 1354237 ***
