Description of problem: Fedora has qpid proton packages, but not for the C++ bindings. The qpid-proton-c-devel package incorrectly includes C++ headers (see bug 1381362), but it lacks the cmake config information and qpid-proton-c does not include the C++ library, so it's not the case that the -c packages just incorporate the -cpp -equivalent parts. Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): Fedora 23 (update), 24 (update), 25 (devel). How reproducible: Reliably - it's an absence Steps to Reproduce: 1. run dnf search qpid-proton-cpp 2. 3. Actual results: see nothing Expected results: see packages listed Additional info: Morpho is prepared to make the qpid-proton-cpp & -devel packages, though we're not Fedora-level skilled at it. But this relies on bug 1381362 being fixed, or else a suggestion given as to how to work around it.
