Description Andrea Perotti 2016-10-06 11:04:19 UTC
Description of problem:

In the guide
https://access.redhat.com/documentation/en/red-hat-openstack-platform/9/paged/upgrading-red-hat-openstack-platform/

The following chapters:

Chapter 4. Non-Director Environments: Upgrading OpenStack Services Simultaneously

https://access.redhat.com/documentation/en/red-hat-openstack-platform/9/paged/upgrading-red-hat-openstack-platform/chapter-4-non-director-environments-upgrading-openstack-services-simultaneously

~~~
Chapter 5. Non-Director Environments: Upgrading Individual OpenStack Services (Live Compute) in a Standard Environment
https://access.redhat.com/documentation/en/red-hat-openstack-platform/9/paged/upgrading-red-hat-openstack-platform/chapter-5-non-director-environments-upgrading-individual-openstack-services-live-compute-in-a-standard-environment
~~~

Chapter 6. Non-Director Environments: Upgrading Individual OpenStack Services (Live Compute) in a High Availability Environment

https://access.redhat.com/documentation/en/red-hat-openstack-platform/9/paged/upgrading-red-hat-openstack-platform/chapter-6-non-director-environments-upgrading-individual-openstack-services-live-compute-in-a-high-availability-environment

are all reporting:

"This scenario upgrades from Red Hat OpenStack Platform 7 to Red Hat OpenStack Platform 8"

while it should be:

"This scenario upgrades from Red Hat OpenStack Platform 8 to Red Hat OpenStack Platform 9"

This is confusing for customer and plain wrong.

Can you please verify

Hi Andrea,

I've pushed out the update for this BZ. The upgrade paths should be correct now.

Was there anything further required for this BZ?
