In the OSP director Installation Guide, there are 3 issues: 1. The RHEL repo is RHEL GA and not RHEL 7.3 beta so there are key packages missing until RHEL 7.3 goes GA. The customer should subscribe to the RHEL beta repo. 2. Some additional repos are missing as mentioned in Bug 1382283: rhel-ha-for-rhel-7-server-beta-rpms rhel-7-server-beta-rpms 3. The repo containing openvswitch is also missing: rhel-7-fast-datapath-rpms

The beta version of the docs should have the correct command and the correct repos. > 3. The repo containing openvswitch is also missing: > rhel-7-fast-datapath-rpms This one is a little surprising. It looks like we're shipping ovs 2.0 in the openstack beta repo when we should be shipping 2.5. NEEDINFOing mburns. @Mike - Does the openvswitch package in rhel-7-server-openstack-beta-rpms need to be updated?
Corrected repos for OSP 10 Beta: https://access.redhat.com/documentation/en/red-hat-openstack-platform/10-beta/single/director-installation-and-usage/#sect-Repository_Requirements https://access.redhat.com/documentation/en/red-hat-openstack-platform/10-beta/single/director-installation-and-usage/#sect-Registering_your_System Bryan, can verfiy that the repos are correct now?
Also adding NEEDINFO for mburn for comment #1
Looks great, Dan! Thanks for the quick turnaround. Setting needinfo on mburns again for comment 1 as I accidentally cleared it.
I got confirmation from Mike in email that fast-datapath is the correct repo for openvswitch on OpenStack 10.
Yes, we should be using fast-datapath for openvswitch. The openvswitch package included in any beta repos will not be there when we ship GA.
This should be published now. Feel free to reopen if any further changes are required.
