Description of problem: I have a Dell XPS 13 with a HiDPI screen. In the Display setting, I do get the default 3200x1800 resolution (16:9), but the rest of the possible resolutions listed only show 4:3 based resolution. Other Linux distros (Ubuntu and Arch) will show and use the full list of 16:9 resolutions below 3200x1800 640x360 720x405 848x480 960x540 1024x576 1280x720 1366 x768 1600x900 1920x1080 2048x1152 2560x1440 2880x1620 Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): 24 How reproducible: Always Actual results: Only get 3200x1800 (16:9), the rest are 4:3 resolutions Expected results: Display settings should show full list 16:9 resolutions
Fixed in Fedora 25 beta, at least in Wayland.
This message is a reminder that Fedora 24 is nearing its end of life. Approximately 2 (two) weeks from now Fedora will stop maintaining and issuing updates for Fedora 24. Fedora 24 changed to end-of-life (EOL) status on 2017-08-08. Fedora 24 is no longer maintained, which means that it will not receive any further security or bug fix updates. As a result we are closing this bug. If you can reproduce this bug against a currently maintained version of Fedora please feel free to reopen this bug against that version.
