Created attachment 1684618 [details] patch to update dhcpcd tp version 9.0.2 These are the current fixes needed to make dhcpcd version 9.0.2 work in Fedora 32. I am using this on my internet gateway / firewall. My ISP is ACT Fibernet in INDIA which gives me a single static IP address via PPPoE for IPv4 and dhcp pd for IPv6. With ISC dhcp I neeed to make 2 calls one for IA_NA to set the ip for the ppp link and then another to get the prefix and assign to lan. When the link drops it never seems to recover properly. Also I need to get extra hook scripts for the PD assignment With this dhcpcd not only is the link drop handled correctly, I get the additional benefit of updating the dynamic dns in the hook scripts
