Description of problem: After update to texlive-2016-7.20160520 bibliography composition (by biber) fail to work. Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): texlive-2016-7.20160520 biber-2.1-5.fc25.noarch How reproducible: Always. Steps to Reproduce: 1. Take a latex document with biliography, created by biber. 2. Update texlive to 2016-7.20160520 3. Try to remake. Actual results: Many errors on build, like: File 'monogr.bbl' is wrong format version - expected 2.7. (./monogr.bbl! Use of \sortlist doesn't match its definition. l.21 \sortlist{ none} ! Undefined control sequence. \entry ...ata@\the \c@refsection @\blx@slist@name If biber is updated to 2.7-pre, biber fails to proceed: requires old biblatex version. Expected results: Both biber and biblatex works.
Can you provide a sample of a latex document with bibliography created by biber that doesn't work? It looks like biber needs to be updated, but I'd like to have a clearly documented test case to make sure.

Okay, I see the incompatibility. This will be fixed in the -10 update of texlive and the biber-2.6 update. I've confirmed that the version of biblatex in texlive (-10) is compatible with biber 2.6, and used them to generate a proper pdf of your test files.
Fixed in -10. Check was conducted before install finished
