The link to the successor Jira issue will be found under "Links", have a little "two-footprint" icon next to it, and direct you to the "Satellite project" in Red Hat Jira (issue links are of type "https://issues.redhat.com/browse/SAT-XXXX", where "X" is a digit). This same link will be available in a blue banner at the top of the page informing you that that bug has been migrated.

Describe the issue: 

"Configuring Capsule Server with a Custom Server Certificate Before Running the Installer" contains duplicate steps 1-4 that are the same as already in 4.6.1. The duplicated texts are in some parts even better. E.g. the 'You must have installed the katello-ca-consumer-latest package' has a command in 4.7.5 and not in 4.6.1.

the in the part 'Configure Capsule with a Custom Server Certificate After Running the Installer' there comes generating the certs tar with custom capsule certificates. Why is this not needed in the step before insatllation described before?


Suggestions for improvement: 
Remove duplication were needed. Keep the certificate installation on the capsule to be only the additional part. At least the 

Improve work flow when custom capsule certificates need to be generated and used.

I have recently been working to improve the documentation of using custom certificates on Red Hat Satellite Server 6.2. I have attached a version of the updated Installation Guide, in PDF format. Please review the following sections and confirm whether or not your issues have been resolved. Any other feedback on the updated version is also welcome.

The updated version is undergoing review by subject matter experts, also peer review by fellow technical writers. Once that is complete it will be published to the Customer Portal.
