Description Calvin Hartwell 2016-10-11 14:10:56 UTC
Description of problem:

Between 6.1.X and 6.2.X the OpenSCAP plugin installation has been simplified but I don't feel that the UI changes were great. Before, I used to be able to easily find the latest full report for a host, but now its slightly more convoluted.

What I'm suggesting is that we add a "View Latest Full Report" button on the Reports page next to the delete button or on each host entry. The full report provides really good information which customers want to see (especially the remediation steps).

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):

6.2.X

How reproducible:

Easy to reproduce

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Setup OpenSCAP, run it on a host
2. Go to the SCAP Reports Page, try to find a full report
3. ...

Actual results:

It's more difficult in 6.2.X to find the full scap report for a client compared to 6.1.X

Expected results:

It should be simple to find the full OpenSCAP report for a client (it used to be in 6.1)

Additional info:

The page https://satfqdn/compliance/arf_reports?order=compliance_failed+ASC

Should have page which takes you to the report (show full report button has gone?)

Comment 2 Ondřej Pražák 2016-10-12 10:05:51 UTC
The quickest way to get to the latest report for a host is to use search on compliance reports page: host = my-host.example.com
Reports ordering is descending by default.

Moving this bug to POST for triage into Satellite 6 since the upstream issue http://projects.theforeman.org/issues/16878 has been resolved.
