Latest Fedora delivers 1.27 version. Upstream released 1.28. When you have free time, upgrade it.

Also please consider enabling release monitoring <https://admin.fedoraproject.org/pkgdb/package/rpms/perl-Proc-PID-File/> to receive update notification automatically.
