I'd think audit failure is not supported on the RHDS10.1 Console. I propose to push this to RHDS10.2.

Mark, William, VIktor, what do you guys think?

BTW, Kamlesh, could you please give us some more details about "Add tree entry"? What exactly you tried to do?

I suppose he means that under the configuration tab, there is a "Logs" branch that has Access, Audit, and Error leaf branches. So do we add a new leaf branch for AuditFails, or extend the current Audit branch/form? I can go either way on it, but seems more logical to add it to the current Audit panel (less confusing?)

Comment 3 mreynolds 2016-10-17 17:38:15 UTC
As discussed in the today's meeting we are not going to fix this. There are many configuration settings that do not have a fancy panel/form. The auditfail settings can still be set in the LDAP browser under the cn=config suffix. Since we are moving away from the java console, and towards a web based console, the java console will not be fixed/enhanced.
