Created attachment 1211523 [details] dmesg and journalctl logs Randomly the mouse and keyboard lockup. I have to reboot to free them up. When the lock up occurs nothing on the screen is updated. The clock display does not advance. Any scrolling text in a terminal window appears to stop. I've been on web-based conference calls when the system locks up. A small snippet of sound loops and replays until I reboot. I received this laptop Jan/Feb 2015. I installed Fedora 24. It ran without issue until this spring 2016 at which time randomly every couple of weeks the keyboard and mouse started locking up. This behavior has gotten worse over time. I sometimes get screen lockup several times a day now. Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): hardware: Lenovo ThinkPad W541 Serial Number: R90JDB11 Type 20EG OS: Fedora 24 How reproducible: I have not found anyway to reliable reproduce the failure. If there is any software I can run to capture the problem, I would be glad to run it.
