Description Leslie Satenstein 2016-10-18 02:57:03 UTC
Description of problem:

With the Oct 11 Beta 1, Tweak-tool was not included. It is required if we want to:

add week numbers to the clock and some details
Want to be able to see the trash-can icon on the desktop
Want to see the home folder on the desktop
Want to be able to run Gparted from the GUI interface.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):

Fedora 25 beta1

How reproducible:

Install live iso and try it. If does not work. The above worked with Alpha version.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Install live iso (or network installation) and Gnome configuration
2. Install gnome-shell-tweak-tool.
3. Select options to show mounted drive, trash can, and home folder
4 Install and run gparted
Actual results:

Blank desktop screen
gparted starts, we see indication, but then it fades into oblivion.

Expected results:

To function as it does if user logs in using xorg option at log-in time

Additional info:

Could very well be one single item that is omitted or wrongly coded.
