Actual results: Segmentation fault (core dumped) Expected results: Error message should be printed, insetad of segmentation fault. Additional info: Upstream fix is here http://git.kernel.org/cgit/linux/kernel/git/rostedt/trace-cmd.git/commit/?id=fca725695474085397339abe07de4a91a781269e while there is a lot of changes before this fix, so it can not be patched directly.
