Created attachment 1212188 [details] Rear of notebook showing HDMI OUT. Can you please help. No Audio/Visual for HDMI on Dell L702X for HDMI out to Marantz AV Digital receiver, for an HDD system Dual Monitor Samsung 32" Setup worked on Windows when new. Had video HDMI working on F24. Have new install Fedora 25 beta. Updates done. Consider coding of HDMI driver script source code critical for new F25. The notebook uses Sandybridge audio on the Intel AV Card: HDA Intel PCH Chip: Realtek ALC665. Fedora Kernel is suspected. Version-Release number of selected component F25 beta, rawhide Additional info:
DUAL MONITORS, Friday, October 21 Reboot for update of OS showed during power down & boot dual monitors, but once F25 beta was loaded the Samsung Monitor was lost and did not show up in the Graphical Videos nor pauvcontrol, volume. Alsamixer does show a PCM for the HDMI. Set the volume to maximum. Is there a terminal program for video control? There is dual only when powering down or loading the OS.
The audio/sound does not work, need to solve this please. HDMI Dual Monitor Video now working since the last update.

fedora-upgrade is just wrapper around "dnf upgrade". I'm afraid I cannot help you. You have to find which component is responsible for this. If you are unsure, you better find support on some general mailing list or "ask fedora" website.
have changed component to fedora-release, please reopen the comment.
(In reply to edynate from comment #6) > have changed component to fedora-release, please reopen the comment. that is certainly not the right component for hardware issues. I moved it to the kernel

Clearly the Intel sound card is detected and shown on alsamixer as active, however, the sound is not ported to the HDMI, and as pavucontrol is not yet available for this beta, which would allow checking audio output.
