Description of problem:

IBM Tivoli monitoring does not recognize RHEL 7 architecture and must be given the option ( setarch $(uname -m) --uname-2.6 ) prior to installation.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):

RHEL 7

How reproducible:
Very

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Attempt to install Tivoli on a RHEL 7 machine.
2. Installer fails with 

install.sh failure: KCI1138E could not determine the machine's architecture.


Actual results:

install.sh failure: KCI1138E could not determine the machine's architecture.

Expected results:

Installer would recognize system arch

This sounds like an IBM software issue. Please confirm the exact issue with gcc-libraries if a change is needed in RHEL. Thanks.
