When mediawriter was writing to the usb,I found I need to use the usb for other thing,so I click the "cancel"button,I thought it would clean my usb,but it didn't,and I have to clean the usb stick using the"restore"option. Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): mediawriter-3.97.2-0.fc25.x86_64 How reproducible: always Steps to Reproduce: 1. 2. 3. Actual results: "cancel" only stops the writing progress Expected results: "cancel" should stop the writing progress and "restore" the usb stick. Additional info:
Hello, thank you for the suggestion but I don't think this is what we want. If the user actually wants to clean the drive, they can just clean the drive using the cleanup feature of the tool. For example, when I make a mistake when selecting a drive, I want to stop writing immediately before all data is overwritten, to maximize the chance of having as most of it as possible preserved.
